MUSERS, How Has This Year Been for You?
Awesome? Fu**ed up? So-so? Let’s reflect! And are you excited for 2023?
Is this year ending? For real?
Though we say those lines at the end of every year and discuss how fast the year has passed, 2022 feels as if it flew away.
And it is not going to say it’s coming back in a jiffy.
A lot of wonderful and not-so-wonderful things might be coming to an end with the end of the year for y’all.
For me, it’s been no short of a hell of a ride. Ups and downs and god knows how many new things and experiences I got a chance to learn from.
But it feels as if everything will be incomplete without a Year In Review kinda article. Don’t you think?
It’s only after we think about what good has happened to us do we realise to be grateful for the same.
Reminiscing about good things may occasionally bring some not-so-distant bad memories. Let’s write about them too. Let’s leave them with our words in 2022. Let’s start 2023 on a positive note.
Here’s our writing prompt, MUSERS
I am writing a Year In Review kinda article today and it accidentally hit me why not encourage everyone to do the same?
You may have posted yours already or maybe you’re not planning to write one. That’s fine. There’s no compulsion. This is a rather friendly invite to share how your year went.
Write about anything from a single event that is special to you to a whole comprehensive story describing your ups and downs, lessons learnt and milestones achieved. Or even how you plan to celebrate Christmas and New Year.
It’s up to you.
Be it a sad story or a funny one, it’s welcome in theMUSINGS.
I’ll make a Medium list compiling them all. That’d be a fun reading experience for Christmas and New Year, don’t you think?
There is no compulsion to publish your story in theMUSINGS, although that would be awesome.
If you are submitting your story to a different publication or want to self-publish it, don’t forget to tag me so I can include it in the List.
Let’s all have a good time writing and reading together. I am feeling excited already. I hope the same is the case with you.
To all the writers at theMUSINGS, you are awesome. I had a brilliant time reading, editing and publishing your stories. I hope to continue doing the same in 2023.
