Quick Question: Is It Possible to Systemize Creativity?
In one way you can, but actually you can’t.
What an interesting topic to muse on, right?
Hello everyone, I hope you are having productive writing sessions.
Yesterday I came across this wonderful tweet from Kuba on Twitter.
It caught my interest. “I want to know the answer!” Can we systemize creativity? What do you think?

Answers from the comments
The one answer that stood out in the comments was from Pam Rubin:
“I don’t think you can systematize creativity, but I do think you can systematize the enablers for creativity.”
Yes, creativity can’t be systematized. You can’t cage or tame it to summon it whenever you want.
So, are routines effective?
The beauty of the answer by Pam is that it subtly hints at it. “You can systematize the enablers for creativity.”
Making routines, setting aside hours for writing, and staring at a blank screen (sometimes) are all part of the process.
It’s difficult in the beginning, but with practice, you get so used to it that it happens effortlessly.
On that note, write something spicy! See you soon.
The playlist I was listening to while writing this letter:
This playlist has some slow Hindi songs to help me keep focused on writing. I have to admit I started singing a couple of times :)
Wish you productive writing sessions and don’t forget to put a nice playlist on.
Loved this! Gonna share on LinkedIn! Thanks, dear.
